Sweets Way is a housing development located in Whetstone in the London borough of Barnet. Located close to Whetstone town centre, the site was a former location for the Ministry of Defence.

The scheme comprises 288 dwellings in total with the majority being houses, which are also complemented by a number of apartments. There is a wide variety of housing typologies throughout the development including one and two bedroom apartments, together with two, three and four bedroom houses.

The proposed appearance and character fits in well with its surrounding architectural context, with the predominant material being brick used throughout. Stonework and brick detailing help to punctuate the external envelopes and highlight architectural features such as windows and doors.

BM3 was appointed to carry out RIBA stages 4 to 6. This was a bespoke development for our client and so BM3 were brought on board due to our knowledge and experience of delivering bespoke housing, which was extremely beneficial to the client during the construction phase of the project.
