Part of a gateway development in Stratford upon Avon. The Arden Quarter comprises an Extra Care Facility, Apartments, and Houses adjacent to Stratford’s railway station. The extra care facility is sat on a tight site with a car park to the front and several landscaped courtyards to the rear. In addition to an Extra Care block, apartments and houses, there are some areas of Public Realm that our landscape team has designed in detail.
BM3 was commissioned to undertake the discharge of planning conditions and production of working drawings. We worked for the Contractor, but prior to appointment, the Housing Association client questioned our ability to work collaboratively using BIM and that we would respect the high-quality design. We satisfied the HA on both counts and have subsequently received praise for our work from both the Client and Contractor.
We also utilised our in-house landscape design team to ensure swift coordination of both the internal and external elements of the design and an overall, high quality finished scheme. Completed in 2020, Arden Quarter was shortlisted for Construction Project of the year at Insider Awards and for a Housing Design Award.
