The concept of this competition was to redevelop the schools and their surrounding context having a primary goal to improve the quality of the children’s daily life in education, and thus also enhance the quality of life for the wider community creating an attractive area for social interaction.

This included proposals for the renovation of existing blocks juxtaposed with new building forms and materials. The careful placement of public spaces between buildings and park created a holistic approach to the masterplan.

BM3 created a work experience placement for an Architectural student to participate in this project.

BM3 Architecture won 1st Commendation and a 3,000 euro prize.
