Outline Planning Permission granted for 3,500 new homes in Druids Heath, Birmingham

We are excited to announce that the Outline Planning Permissions for the £1b regeneration of Druids Heath, Birmingham, has been approved! This residential-led, mixed-use development will deliver up to 3,500 new homes, with the council committed to 51% affordable, transforming the area into a thriving, sustainable community.

Our design approach celebrates the creation of high-quality homes set within vibrant, welcoming public spaces and a rich green infrastructure that is seamlessly woven into the existing landscape. The masterplan establishes a clear and connected network of streets, parks, and community spaces, transforming the area into an accessible, sustainable, and people-focused place that encourages active, healthy lifestyles and everyday social interaction.

Shaped through meaningful collaboration with the local community and key stakeholders, the project responds positively to long-standing challenges, including poor housing conditions, fragmented connectivity, and underused alleyways. In doing so, it reimagines the neighbourhood as a safer, greener, and more cohesive place—one that instils pride, strengthens community identity, and is designed to thrive for generations to come.

We are proud to have played a central role in delivering this project, bringing together our expertise in Architecture and Landscape Architecture to create a distinctive, integrated design that places people, place, and long-term quality at its heart.
