St Georges Place is situated on an infill site in one of Cheltenham’s conservation areas. Designed to complement its regency surroundings the building accommodates 13 dwellings. A mixture of 1 and 2 bed flats with a communal garden space. The Lower Ground Floor emulates the neighbouring properties with a large light well and bridge links to the front doors on the ground floor.

The building was designed to appear as an extension of the existing street ensuring all the characteristics were captured.

The client initially asked us to design flats for rent, although sometime after this changed as the local university became involved. We then redesigned the scheme to the new brief and turned it around in only 2 weeks ensuring we wouldn't miss the new term start date for students to move in.
